Frequently asked questions

  • Are LiTrek batteries really made in Australia?
Bloody oath! We build these batteries here using local and imported components. We proudly solder, glue, crimp, plug and screw each battery together ourselves carefully and consistently to deliver the toughest smartest battery consumers could ask for. As we grow, we hope to onboard more local manufacturing partners and invest in Australia’s sovereign capability.
  • is the battery serviceabe? why?
Yep! LiTrek designed the batteries so that should cells,BMS or other components experience an unlikely malfunction, we can simply repair or replace the component. This is a unique feature as we can avoid scraping a whole battery where other manufacturers discard it. Learn more about our servicing on our sustainability page!
  • What is Treknet?
Treknet is LiTrek’s proprietary communications interface. It will allow appliances such as batteries, chargers, gauges and visual displays and many other products in development to communicate with one another. Long answer short, its' a system that a centralises control and monitoring of accessories like lights, fridges, pumps and any thing else you can invent that needs to be turn on/off or monitored. Although the system is currently still under development, all Litrek batteries are equipped with the required hardware to connect, so over time, your battery will continue to advance in its technical features.
